What We Do
Adjusting to life in the community once a person leaves prison may feel overwhelming. ReSet will support clients to prepare for leaving prison and continue to support them once they are back in the community.
Having a safe place to live when a person leaves prison is crucial to getting their life back on track. ReSet staff can help clients to find a place to live when they leave prison.
Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to start when looking for work. Clients may also be worried that their time in prison will mean that they won’t be able to find a job.
Parenting can be hard work. When a person is in prison, it can feel even more difficult because they can’t be involved in day-to-day, hands-on activities and decisions.
At ReSet, we understand how important it is for people to be connected with family and friends while they are in prison. ReSet manages the Family Support Centres at Bandyup, Casuarina, Hakea and Wooroloo prisons.
